A new study from the Journal of Internal Medicine suggests there might be a COVID-19 symptom that could be permanent or at least last longer than others.
Whats going on?
The study found that 86% of patients with mild cases of COVID-19 experienced a loss of their sense of taste and smell. A significant amount of those patients had their senses return. But there was a chunk who never got their taste or sense of smell back.
