EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) — The El Paso Department of Public Health announced three new coronavirus-related deaths Wednesday morning.
The death toll now stands at 563 in El Paso County. The victims were identified as:

  • 1 woman in her 60s
  • 1 man in his 70s
  • 1 woman in her 80s

All had underlying health conditions.
Health officials announced 670 new cases and 55 “delayed” positive results that the state is just now reporting to the local health department.
El Paso County currently has 8,820 known active cases….

DES MOINES, Iowa —Iowa reported 31 additional COVID-19 deaths and another 1,276 new positive cases Wednesday.
The Iowa Department of Public Health reports there are 534 Iowans currently hospitalized with COVID-19, the highest number reported since the pandemic began. As of 10 a.m. Wednesday, the health department reported 109,573 total positive cases, 84,623 total recoveries and 1,579 total deaths since the pandemic began. The state reported 108,297 total cases and 1,548 total deaths 24 hours earlier.
